Privacy Policy and Terms

nirel-argov.com · Kolot Voice Academy · Last updated October 27, 2026

This page has three parts: our privacy policy, the terms of purchase for our online course (including refunds and cancellation), and our accessibility statement.

Privacy policy

The privacy of our website's visitors matters a great deal to us, and we are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Who we are

This website and Kolot Voice Academy are operated by Nirel Argov, an Israeli VAT-registered business (VAT no. 207669888) based in Bnei Brak, Israel. You can reach us at nirelargov@gmail.com.

Your consent

We send you our emails only with your consent: when you sign up for the free course or take the voice test, you check a box agreeing to receive them. You can withdraw your consent at any time: click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any of our emails, or write to us. When you buy a course, we use your details to give you the course and to issue your receipt.

Information we collect

  • Your name and email address when you sign up for the free course or take the voice test, and your answers to the voice test
  • Your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and country when you buy a course (you enter your card details on our payment provider's secure page, and we never see or store them)
  • Which lessons you have watched, as recorded by our course platform
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you visit, collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies
  • Anything you send us by email or WhatsApp

The voice test

If you take our voice test and ask for your report, we keep your first name, your email address, your answers (including any symptoms you mark, such as throat pain or hoarseness), and your timing results. The test never turns on your microphone, and nothing is recorded. We use this information only to send you your report and related emails, and it is stored with our email service provider. You can ask us to delete it at any time by replying to any of our emails.

Cookies and analytics

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. We use the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our advertising, and these services use cookies and similar technologies. Our pages also keep a few small settings in your browser, for example so that an offer you closed isn't shown to you again for a week, and the accessibility toolbar remembers your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work.

How we use your information

  • To send you the free course or your voice test report, and our emails with voice tips and course offers, if you agreed to receive them
  • To give you access to a course you bought, and to send you receipts and invoices
  • To answer your questions and requests
  • To measure and improve our website and our advertising
  • To keep our website secure and prevent fraud
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records

We do not sell your personal information, and we will not give it to anyone else for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers only to run our business: Responder (email), Schooler (course platform), Bunny.net (video delivery), Yesh Invoice and Upay (payments and receipts), Google (analytics and advertising), WhatsApp (if you message us), and Cloudflare (website security). Some of them store data outside your country, including in Israel, the European Union, and the United States. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are subscribed to our emails or have access to a course, and for as long as the law requires for invoices and accounting. After that, we delete it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, or alteration. Payments are processed on our payment provider's secure, encrypted page. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

Your rights

Under Israeli privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Know: receive clear information about what we collect, why we use it, and who we share it with
  • Access: receive a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correct: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
  • Delete: ask us to delete your information
  • Object: ask us to stop using your information for marketing
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you also have the rights the GDPR gives you, including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. To use any of your rights, email us. We may ask you to confirm your identity (for example, with a government-issued ID or passport) before we hand over personal information.

Children

Our courses are not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will bring significant changes to your attention.

Contact us

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority by phone at +972-2-509-7000 or by email at privacy@justice.gov.il.

Terms of purchase: Rediscover Your Voice

These terms apply when you buy our online course, Rediscover Your Voice. You accept them at checkout.

The seller

Kolot Voice Academy is operated by Nirel Argov, an Israeli VAT-registered business (VAT no. 207669888) based in Bnei Brak, Israel. Email: nirelargov@gmail.com.

What you get

25 online video lessons in English (an introduction, 8 chapters, and 2 bonus chapters) on our course platform. Your login details are emailed to you right after payment. These are Nirel's own lessons: he recorded them in Hebrew, and they were voiced in English in his own voice using AI, lip-synced, with English subtitles. A few short singing and counting demonstrations stay in Hebrew.

Price

US$397, one payment. Buyers outside Israel pay no Israeli VAT. For Israeli residents, who buy through the Israeli checkout, the price includes VAT.

Access

Your access does not expire. You can watch the lessons as often as you like, on up to 3 devices.

Personal license

The course is for your personal use only. Please don't share your login, and don't copy, record, or distribute any part of the course.

Refunds and cancellation

You may cancel your purchase within 14 days of the purchase date, as long as you have watched no more than 5 of the course's 25 lessons (20% of the course), according to our course platform's records. Watching more than 5 lessons counts as using the course, and the purchase can then no longer be canceled.

To cancel, email nirelargov@gmail.com from the address you used at checkout. We will refund your payment to your original payment method within 14 days of your request.

As Israeli consumer protection law allows, a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or 100 NIS, whichever is lower, is deducted from the refund. On the $397 course price, the fee is $19.85, so you get back $377.15.

Your health

The course is for education only and is not a substitute for medical advice. If your hoarseness lasts more than two weeks, or you have pain or trouble swallowing, please see an ear, nose, and throat doctor (ENT).

Support

Email us at nirelargov@gmail.com. We're closed on Shabbat and Jewish holidays.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.

Accessibility statement

Kolot Voice Academy wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and courses. We are working to make our English pages meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the basis of the Israeli accessibility standard (IS 5568).

We built the pages with clear headings, text alternatives for images, and controls that work with a keyboard. The site has an accessibility toolbar (the round button at the bottom of the screen) for contrast, text size, a readable font, and stopping animations. The course lessons and the interview on our course page have English subtitles.

Some parts may not be fully accessible yet, including pages run by other companies, such as our payment page and course platform. If you find something that's hard to use, please tell our accessibility coordinator, Nirel Argov, by email at nirelargov@gmail.com or by WhatsApp at +972 53-380-2844. We'll do our best to fix it, or to give you the information another way.

This statement was last updated on October 26, 2026.
